Winter has arrived!! and with it comes the arrival of the traditional November Series Rugby Internationals which are currently in full swing, given the mounting injury concerns for some of the “Home Nations” it promises to be a testing few weeks considering they are up against some of the southern hemispheres finest. In addition, the likes of Brazil, Uruguay, Tonga, Samoa and the USA are regular touring sides to Europe.

With this latest spate of injuries in the professional game we must ask ourselves the question; are these injuries just bad luck or have they become an inherent part of playing Rugby?
